Story behind the song

I spent a month or more touring in Turky with a soul group backing Mighty Sam McClain.
The music I heard from that country I loved and so I started writing what was in my head/heart of it when I returned. 
I made this recording as a demo for a group.
I played all the instruments and overdubbed on a Roland 1824 Digital Work Station using a click track "metrenome" I included the Tampura because I liked the sound even though it's an Indian instrument.
This song and "Basit Yurec" are the beginning of a future project I'm planning
