Story behind the song
When I felt as if God had left me or abandoned me I was moved to have this conversation between my frail, emotional nature and my religious faith. The song is a banter between the two natures. I believe most of us have moments as David did in Psalm 42 when complains of his enemies asking, "Where is your God?"
