The Haunting sounds of the ancient Tribal Indians. I attempted to utilize sounds that I think represent the instruments that they used. I only wish that these great people were more recognized for their contributions in our society today.

Music... My entire life, music has been the "driving force" in everything that I've done. I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6, played in bands all through high school, graduated with a degree in piano from college, and all the while learned as much as I could about the recording studio by working as a session musician and learning the art of recording. To me, music can be visualized by colors. Every sound that you hear has a particular color attached to it and likewise, so does every emotion. That's what I'm attempting to capture in my music. I want to take emotions that are a part of one's natural life and "paint" a picture into my musical landscapes. Before I write a song, I name it. That name is a "hint" as to what I was thinking of. Then the sounds that I used, the melody, the counter-melodies, rhythms, etc. are all part of the final scene. I hope you enjoy my attempts at capturing an emotion for a moment in time....

Story behind the song
Watching a video, (and honestly, I can't remember the name of it), I remember a section where there was a discussion about a "white man" telling the chief of the tribe that their music was strange and evil. The chief then proceeded to give a beautiful explaination of how their music is connected to the spirits and to communications with their loved ones. After the movie, I went on the Internet, and researched a bit, then went into the studio and in about 30 minutes, I had this tune. The toughest part was finding sounds that I felt were appropriate, but I hope that it captures the spirit of the true Native Americans.
