Slo Down was formed all the way back in 1983 From the very beginning the band has had a clear goal: to play pure non thinned Reggae, the way it was done in Jamaica during the late sixties and throughout the seventies. The style is calling for both dancing and singing along, as the orchestra empathizing vocal arrangements, and sophisticated rhythms, mixed with horn and solid bass lines. During the years there have been members from a lot of various Danish Bands, some top line, others not so known, the mixes has been plenty but the Slo Down chemistry is always explosive As Reggae haven’t always had the best conditions in Denmark as today, where it again seemingly tends to be new waves of this outstanding musical style, it has been quite a challenge to keep the band going, as the motivation has been both high and low, luckily the will to generate dance friendly beats and new sing able melodies still peaks and Slo Down is still surfing the vibes born in Jamaica for almost 40 years ago...
