Ferric Prophet is the current work of Scottish songwriter and producer Jimmy Noble. Formed after decades in underground music, the project draws on lived experience across punk, dub, funk, and experimental rock not as reference points, but as foundations. Ferric Prophet removes everything unnecessary. The music is built around bass, space, rhythm, and voice. It is vocal-led, rhythm-driven, and unpolished written as complete songs rather than background pieces. Reggae and dub form the core, sharpened with punk urgency, direct lyrics, and forward momentum. Often developed alongside visual work by Shivery Dug, Ferric Prophet releases music as complete listening works, intended to be experienced in full.
