Song about our struggle for freedom
original reggae song
Artist picture
You can't know how good the vibe is unless you hear it. Im all about the music. Constructive criticism is welcomed. Im always down for making the sound better.
Started out playing rhythm guitar in New York for the reggae group Lion Force in the early 80s. Toured the US extensively for 7 years doing gigs in various cities and colleges. The band lasted until the beginning of the 90s. After the break up I turned to production which I continue to do now on a daily basis.

Story behind the song
A song about wanting to be free in this time to determine your own destiny
Lyrics
You took i and i from Africa brought us down here to America using and abusing my brother makin him a buffalo soldier I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny I and I was living in a paradise before they took us to the land of ice Everything was sweet and everything was nice Its just about time for them to realize I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny Even when there's no sympathy you will never take away my dignity I'm trying to hold on to my sanity Never to be tempted by your vanity I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny You keeping me in captivity causing all kinds of disunity There's just no cooperation For us is only frustration I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny For more than four hundred years lord with whip on my back in the morning whip on my back at night Tell me lord sometimes I feel to I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny I want to be free to rule my destiny Just want to be free to rule my destiny
