Story behind the song
Playing and recording with the vintage 1943 Levin Deluxe continues to be a great pleasure. Learning jazz standards in the key of Eb probably influenced this one, which, as the title tries to imply, was inspired in part by Martha Trachtenberg's "It Must Be Spring", which is occasionally performed by the quartet, Sink or Swing.
