Story behind the song
Written and recorded in early spring of 2017. Mixed and produced in late spring (with new plug-in's. Yea). Simple song format based obviously on the stabs hit intro. Much appreciation for JR Burney stunning guitar work.

Beautiful. I almost created a new station for this track called 'Smooth Grooves' but decided to place it in 'Classy Tracks' instead. A very well balanced blend of magical tones produced by musicians with exceptional talent. Bravo!

Great guitar work here. I read you had someone helping you on that part, compliments to him. That said, I need to compliment you also for a another well produced, super sharp edged piece of stunning music! Great sax, great keys and you are definitely one of the best producers on SC!

Love the combination of exquisite and delicate intonations of sax with energetic line of rock guitar - it makes high tension which works like an additional springboard for the further development of the theme and its awesome culmination. Nice measure changes both in intro and acme, these are: 3/4 x 4 and then 4/4 x 1 with the syncopated riffs. No need to say that the whole sound picture is perfect as always.

Great intro! Plus of course, that signature sax sets this track into an easy #1 slot. Love all the elements that make this track special. Can't forget to mention the "off the chain" guitar solo! NICE! Worth every bob my head can get out in 4 minutes. :)

Another great tune! I was just watching a documentary on Chicago last night (I have a huge appreciation for horn players) and this composition is really great! I always know when you post a song it has been performed and arranged in top form, nothing rushed or half baked. "Make no bones about it" is one fine musical piece of work!

A super, super track. Amazing Alto sax and guitar. Perfectly layed cool pads underneath. The track has an incredible feel to it. The production is out of this world. I love it!

Wot! no middle 8? :) Seriously though a masterful exercise in jazz. It is "planned extemporisation" (which of course is a contradiction in itself) on a basic theme (the backing) which is presented in a modern context. Hope you find this a thoughtful Review without any floral embellishment. Tony

Great intro with the guitar and brass! So cool to hear that sax again! Love the brass-syncopes along with JR's guitar! Also like the floating groove/synthbass here. And the back and forth with sax and guitar.:) Well done gents!
