Surely a different approach in the vocals. I hear some Armstrong in it too, but it also gives the song a genuine touch. Patriotic songs like this one, tend to be a little too clean and nice, but your vocals pull this one in another direction. It becomes a statement from the common man. Well done, Rod!

Wow!!! Really awesome Independence Day song. Powerful uplifting vocals and terrific backing arrangement. (I like that "Whoa" and the end of song. So cool. Happy 4th:)
