Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

This is super groooovy! it exudes a very West Coast vibe. The deep reverb on the guitar is great. I can almost see the lava lamps and psychedelic light show projections. I has a 'garageband kind of sound. A real 'Nugget' of a song. Like everyone else has already said...yes, I can hear shades of The Doors in this, but it has your own unique and recognisable sound too. Your voice is so perfect for this strange and compelling song. The whooshes that fly across the speakers are a really nice touch. Timothy Leary is taking me on a trip around the Bay! Nice :)

Absolutely brilliant, Carlo! I knew this was going to be right up your alley, so I wondered why you were not represented on the psychedelic challenge player. But anyway, here it is and you got everything right. You are a master of this late 60's/early 70's sound and the lyrics are perfect for this genre. And all in all it's just a bloody good song. Makes me think of early PF and The Doors. Great work, Carlo!

I thought I would check out your entry since the psychedelic theme is right down your alley. Nicely done and like Kath says it does have a doors vibe to it. Music & lyrics defiantly have the 60's feel and everything is well performed and delivered!

went looking for a psychedelic track and found this gem! great piece and immediately we're in the late 60's - love this track Carlo, it's groovy, trippy and reminiscent of a time long gone! riff is great, drives it all all the way home!
