Lyrics
Cajun queen, Half a smile she takes the lead. Better know a two-step, 'Cause if you're all wet You'll never get asked again. Claimed she was born on the bayou, Hunted gator with her daddy and bro. Hair as black as the waters, She lived above cut in a cove. You'd never think it true - The identity hidden behind the lace. Dressed in red and ready to kill Any man she'd meet face to face. Cajun queen, Half a smile she takes the lead. Better know a two-step, 'Cause if you're all wet You'll never get asked again. Copyright 2015; Bob Forbes

This rocks along brilliantly, great beat, great vocals, great playing. And the cream, that violin for me. Great track!

Looks like this one must have slipped under my song radar! Always amazed at how you can nail any genre. Love the violin, and the guitar work is superb. As always, excellent vocals & harmonies. First class country song.

I love this magic violin, Bob! It was unexpected for me to hear such kind of stuff from you, albeit I know that you have real professional experience in this style of music.

Great song Bob! Love that clean Hank Marvin tone in the guitar & the fiddle sounds really nice, A cool Delta tune to head into spring with! It's got a great melody and driving beat & the vocals are top notch as always.

You never cease to amaze me with your songs, Bob. Very upbeat tune with cool vocals to go with the great music as well. I know a country rock band up here that could use you. Nice work, as always!

That violin at 2:02 is a killer! As is the guitar solo that follows. This is swampy, foot tapping cajun rock at it's very best. You really managed to create the right swing and feel to this piece. A new favourite among your great songs. The vocal arrangement is faboulous as always :) Super work, Bob!

Lovin' the groove on this...seems more like alternative country or rockabilly than bluegrass to me but whatever ya call it, it's a fun ride. Some really cool riffs and neat country tone to the guitar. Michael's got it...beer 'n swamp boats! Well done Bob...good to hear ya gettin' that fiddle out again too!

Cool driving tune indeed!! :) Would also work well for spin in a swamp boat, dodging gators on the bayou, just remember to pack plenty of beer & the 30-06 ;)

Cool song for driving in the sun, on dusty roads... beautiful, another great track of Graham Gouldman quality. Bobo, besides your groove and violins I love as always your spacey vocals, and the Shadows touch of your guitars. Yee-haw!
