Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Hi Carlo
I spent some time in Sri Lanka, found the mainly Buddhist way of life very calming, very much like the ambient relaxing feel of this wonderful tune.

A very chilled out tune Carlo. I can imagine a sunset over the sea and the waves rolling gently in. . . about a 3 foot swell in nice clean lines. Come on Buddha, lets get in there and catch some waves before it's too dark. Well, I guess you can get it that this tune speaks to me. I like it.

Great title, great music. What more could you want on a nice summer day? Love the floaty feel that comes in near the 3 minute mark.

What a wonderful song title and tune, Carlo! I saw a great
TV Program recently on Buddha. It was most interesting, but
your creative song would have enhanced the documentary production. Again, your playing is excellent, with a "laidback" mood perfect for the Summer - and First Clickers Club Song Challenge! Thanks for the pleasure of this peadeful song, and the dl to our JBBQ Best of Best Songs Music Player.

I really liked this Carlo. Nice mix of instrumentation and loved the lead guitar when it wanders thru the stereo field. Mostly i like the almost chanting vibe..so easy to visualize the relentless surf, gulls overhead, and the unbroken horizon of sky and sea. Excellent soundscape!

The unmistakeable D'Anna sound, perfectly shaped to the summer mood. This is the end of the day, as the sun is setting, and everyone's loading their boards back onto the vans as the shadows lengthen on the beach. And the Buddha is smiling.
Brilliant :)

Hi Carlo!! real surfin´ feeling in this one, if with or without Buddha...!;) hey you are a master of soundscapes and instrumentation!! Liked the arpeggio of the guitar, vintage organ, distinctive drum works, melodic lead guitar!! Yes, as many other listeners already wrote, you have a own unique way to produce, it´s the Carlo´s sound!! One of the best track I heard yesterday evening!! Peace. :) :)

I immediately recognize your typical sound here (filter), like this tune is played on an old record player.
It's so calm, relaxed. With a lot of 70's feeling in it.
Melancholic.
When you start to sing it sounds very familiair (2:56). It must be a band with that typical sound (Pink Floyd, Beach Boys?) bringing back that time.
I like the mystery you have put here, your guitar work and the very relaxed mood. Very nice, Carlo!

Hi Carlo! Warm, good-time groove here - parts remind me of Hendrix's Angle. Also, thank you for your work on the CC Summer Time Theme challenge. It was fun. And thanks again for your comments on my track, 'Heat Wave'...ALC.

So beautifully unusual! Your guitar work is so amazing. Your chord progressions are wonderful. All the instruments you are playing and blending, really sound fascinating!!!!!
