Lyrics
Ireland Measuring time in a different land to shine Ticking across instead of winding down this time Numbers and words fly by,some are caught and some fall deaf to the cynic inside, undesirable Tell me the grief of ungrateful Show the forgotten I learned to remember,in Ireland We chose to ignore the dying cause to its known effect From waters unknown, life was here in retrospect The few that symbolize, some are called and some reflect from a mirror of lies, unbreakable Tell me the thoughts of unthinkable Show me the forsaken who learned to remember,in Ireland Ive seen the green leave your eyes, dark and light producing grey Ive seen the apple of your eye,she watched you fade away

Metalizing, love the production!!!
This is a great Irish/Celtic Rocker Ballad, Patrik! Your vocals are most apt to the author's intentions in Angela's Ashes... And your always super guit and other instruments are mixed into a most entertaining song. This was one of the best tunes for the FINAL CBC Song Challenge! Thanks for the song's pleasure and for the dl to our JBBQ Best of Best Music Player. Bob (and the JBBQ "Guys")

Fabulous song! Great grungy rocker with a brilliant vocal melody that somehow manages to be odd/discordant and super catchy at the same time. Top notch vocal and harmonies, and a deep powerful lyric too. Very 90s sound - Stone Temple Pilots / Soundgarden ish maybe - very very good work Patrik I like this a lot :D !

So well written.....ROCKING, classic, powerhouse material, super-memorable, superb musicianship and vocal delivery....amazing tune!
A very different take on the theme, which is something I always like. Powerful, with tricky harmonies. The hint of a solo at the end had me wanting more :)

Very powerful song with great lyrics. The production is very special, but adds perfectly to the dark tone of the song. This persistent rocker has a story to tell and the vocals are loaded with emotions. Great work!

Great thumping rocker Patrik! good work on the live band sound and vocal harmonies, they add a sweet flavor to the hard edge :)
