Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

I have watched "Blackfish"; I highly recommend others see it. On demand it, borrow it from the local library, or whatever. It's sad but worthwhile- almost dutiful as a citizen of the world. Great song subject matter, Carlo, and cool song too! Thanks for producing it!

Dig the vocals on this one Carlo! Has a bluesy vibe to it and that Carlo mystical Eastern signature. Cool!

I can hear you were very inspirited and touched by the subject where it's all about. The sound here is very "Carlo" and very retro. Reminds me of the 70's. Your special filters are here again.
I totally agree with your view (but don't know the complete story yet). Very good to bring everyone's attention to this subject and when I get the chance I will look to the documentary.
Really enjoyed this one. Good job!

I love the way you can empathise in a song about all manner of things. You are a gifted song writer. fabulous textures throughout.
We swee incredibly lucky to see a 3 Orcas in the sound when we took the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria early in June last year. Magnificent animals. Well done Carlo.

There are so many stories like this across the world and they are heartbreaking. When will human beings get off this superiority kick and start respecting other animals for their intelligence & their contribution to the planet? Great song and thanks for highlighting this story.

Great to bring attention to this major issue. Love the arrangement of the track. Has a fluid (watery) feel to it along with a 70's vibe. Terrific guitar movement throughout and of course your vocals are top notch.

Whoa, now I feel a little guilty for petting Orca at Seaworld back in '86... Mike has it dead on about the Jethro Tull comparison. Great classic rock feel presented - in your modern flare. Congrats once again Carlo!

First off, haven't seen the doc, but this is a good sounding song and I agree with your wishes for the cause. Great texturing and layers of sounds and your vocal timbre has that Ian Anderson flair - I could imagine this is as a Tull song - nice work on this one!
Great of you to care for the Whales. Beautiful vocals and sensational music. God bless you so much for this song!!!!!
