Story behind the song
This song was inspired when my Fiancee and I got together everything was cool until his Homies would show up and He would put me on the back burner and leave with them. I would try to call him and he wouldnt answer. Then the phone would go off and he would come up these lame excuses. Instead of getting angry I retreated to writing since this is my therapy for certian life situations. I had already created the beat and I was sitting there waiting for him to come home and the beat was playing and like magic the song just came to me and when he arrived home the next morning I had been in the studio all night and he was curious and he was in the kitchen, he heard me and was impressed. Next thing I know I recording and that is how I released all my feelings and frustrations about the situation. He laughed it off at first and didn't take me serious and he heard me recording and he came to me and said it was the most original songs he had ever heard and pushed me into finishing it. The reaction from his friends and mine was what really sparked my desire and confindence to complete Left Over b*** and defined myself as an artist.
