Lyrics
Words and melody by Bill Sherrill, Norris Wilson, and Rory Michael Bourke Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful man in the world? And if you did, was he crying, crying? Hey, if you happen to see the most beautiful man that walked out on me Tell him, "I'm sorry." Tell him, "I need my baby." Oh.... Won't you tell him that I love him. Verse: I woke up this morning and realized what I had done I stood alone in the cold gray dawn I knew I'd lost my morning sun I lost my head and I said some things Now come the heartaches that morning brings I know I'm wrong and I couldn't see I let my world slip away from me Chorus: Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful man in the world? And if you did, was he crying, crying? Hey, if you happen to see the most beautiful man that walked out on me Tell him, "I'm sorry." Tell him, "I need my baby." Oh.... Won't you tell him that I love him. (fade out) Did you happen to see the most beautiful man that walked out on me Tell him, "I'm sorry." Tell him, "I need my baby." Oh.... Won't you tell him tha

Fine job on this Rod...Irene does a bang up job on the vocals an i loved the pedal steel touch. Fresh arrangement on this old classic. Those key changes would throw my vocals out the window! Nice one!

Hi Rod, It's really amazing to hear your version of this famous song. It's really your unique style again with good vocals added. I remark you added some country elements too which I don't remember in the original. A new song out of the old one! Nice job!

Wow! What a surprise, I used to sing this song in country places I played. Yes my past includes country music. But what a twist on this, great job by Irene singing it, and the arrangement is great, love the pedal guitar on it, gives it that authentic country sound. Great job, all involved, always loved that song.
