This song was written as a replacement birthday present for Hannah Swayze. The intended present was also a song which was inspired at a time when I had only a voter registration pamphlet to write on. As one can imagine, the pamphlet was soon misplaced and a different song was written and recorded for her birthday .. in one frantic sitting .. from 2 to 5 am on the Sunday morning it was presented to her. The recording and disc wound up taking more time to complete than the composition itself.
