Story behind the song
The Blues revival of the late 60's (inspired by Hendrix, Cream, Joplin, Zep, and countless others) spilled over into the 70's as well. This is an Elmore James style number in open D tuning. Thanks so much Jude, after all it IS the Coconut BLUES club. :)

Kickin blues track,I like the vocals very much. Very professionell production. It reminds me of some David lee Roth stuff. I`m a big fan of old blues songs and love this kind of music. Well done!!!

Demolishing blues rock shuffle loaded with genuine raw 70's feel. Killer slide distorted guitar and love that descent trick. MVP ROCKS !!!!!

What an incredibly great Blues Rock And Roll song, Mike and the Girls! You immediately took me back to my "down and dirty" days of the '70s - ha/lol. But we did have fun way back then. This brilliant tune has such a nostalgic beat and strong lyrics with the superb instrumental and vocal performances. Thanks for memories, and the dl of this outstanding winner in any rockin' genre of whatever music era.

Yeah brilliant stuff Mike. Vocal is gritty and true, lyrics are bang on target blues, great rocking backbeat and that slide is just awesome. Wonderful - like Swamps said you should do blues more often, this is superb.
