In the time of a dead punk rock scene a band of 3 young individuals from the Cleveland, Ohio area try to personify the teenage angst that use to once scrutinize this world. These days punk is not simply enough. With an idea unlike before Under the Influence combines the rebellious roots of a punk rock era and the mind numbing hymns of a post psychedelic world to create the ultimate genre, punkadelic. Though it may seem crazily far-fetched, this is the only way we feel we can exemplify ourselves in a music industry of repetition. Not only does this show off the strong song writing abilities we have rooted this band off of but the talent our members possess to make this a reality. Through the unique song writing of Brent Beiling, rhythm guitar and lead vocals, and Anthony DeSalvo, lead guitar and backing vocals, the diversity of the song writing derives itself from the contrast of Lennon and McCartney, with a heavy accent on the grunge era of the early 90’s. Add in the well rounded drumming of Brock Ursem and the rhythmic bass lines from Tommy Sprung and this band is a fresh sound.
