Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Really nice and laidback song Carlo. I dont know how the first 4 takes sounded but you did pretty good on the 5th take. :) Great use of instruments and well written lyrics too.

After reading that you are not satisfied with the vocals here, I just wonder if that is't just the strong point. I mean, this is very visual. We are on a tropical island and were drinking a bit too much.
I still like this one.

This is something special. You manage to sound indeed really drunk in the parts where you are singing. There the mood is really "tropical island"-like.
In between the singing parts it feels like going for a crazy trip. You use a lot of musical fantasy and I like the use and choice of the instruments.

Wonderful mix of instruments and vocals...the magic you can work with that mellotron has me smiling from ear to ear. And of course there's the drums...and the guitar...and the vocals...love it all!

nice fussion of hawiian and electronica with that retro saw synthy sound...it swells like a big wave into a more traditional island sound! fun lyrics and nice vocals. i love the percussive work. and great guitar playing and fluting too!! great arrangement. this is a unique mix of genres and a very cool listen!!! great work on this one!! i want to go to hawaii!! haha

Love that melody and the overall vibe of this track. Kind of trippy and dreamy - fantastic chilled out groove. Superb mix, excellent blend of tones and percussion, with tropical, island elements as well. Very creative work, inspiring stuff!
