Lyrics
What kind of life could it be, To live each day in fear? Looking behind your back every time There's a different sound to hear. Who's keeping the watch? We all just slept right through it. Who's keeping it safe? Right out of an Agatha Christie, They're going to get away with this. Hiding in the shadows, Hoping that no one can see. Constantly dreaming over again, Of peace in humanity. Who's keeping the watch? A real “who done me wrong song”. Who's keeping it safe? Like watching Stephen King all night, With an open window. Copyright © 2012; Bob Forbes

Hi Bob, Good to hear you rocking again! You really caught the 80s feel, and it reminded me of what Blue Oyster Cult were doing at that time! Looking forward to the next one :)

i sort of missed the 80's musically, but this is a fine tune. the guitar work is, of course, outstanding. as always, i enjoyed your singing and harmony. lots of little 'extras' to hear in this song. enjoyed myself, thanks.

Great question we used to have real "watchers" - real reporters...Now all you get is a watered down explanation with no real Im sorry no real consequence ....Nice touch with the music ....
Outstanding guitar playing and vocals with great backing. This 1980s Rocker captures completely the era of exciting transitional music. We hope to hear more of your super music on CBC again soon!

Great to hear you back rockin' Bob...this is an awesome tune. Good writing, vocals never better. Especially liked the harmonies on the psedo-choruses. Haven't heard you rip up the fretboard like this in awhile...man you can tear! Clearly and 80's vibe with the high singing and production but a timeless song to me that could hold it's own in any decade. Really excellent work on this one Bob...loved it.

What an exciting surprise, Bobo... it's closest to me to 10CC, so beautiful, mysterious, RedEyeC trademark and your butterfly vocals and harmonies... extremely catchy... kinda goose bump hit for old classic rock fans like me, and I play it again and again... while reading Tana French ;-) Fantastic production, performance and song!!! Cheers, Paco

Amazing guitar playing. A nice blend of Pink Floyd and ELO, very true to the 80's theme, but still a fantastic, original rock song. Great vocals too! This a favourite!
