Story behind the song
Recorded with Carvin bass & guitars with AdrenaLinn III & BOSS ME-50 multi-effects. Drums composed with MAGIX Air Warrior was the first multiplayer on-line air-combat simulator. Players were able to fly a simulated World War II aircraft, fighting with and against other players, from 4 separate "countries". It was introduced in 1986 by Kelton Flinn and his company Kesmai. At this time the internet was not generally available outside the worlds of government and academia. Kesmai therefore used the online service GEnie for the game's networked communication. Air Warrior originally ran on Apple Macintosh, Commodore Amiga, and Atari ST computers. Over time, Kesmai produced improved versions of the game, starting with SVGA Air Warrior in 1993, and continuing with Air Warrior for Windows in 1996, Air Warrior II in early 1997, Air Warrior III later in 1997, and finally Air Warrior III Millennium Version in 2000. Electronic Arts purchased Air Warrior, and became provider of the latest version of the game only to discontinue it, to the great dismay of its many fans, the last day of on-line flying was December 7, 2001.

Beautiful song, Michael! Great Guitar playing. fascinating phrasing and tone. Perfect production and soundwork. Fantastic how you make your guitar sing and lecture the listener like a fighter pilot kicking butt. Brilliant musicianship.

I'm amazed!! You can nail just about any style or type of music - that takes incredible skill. This track is superb, wonderful job on the percussion and guitars.
