Story behind the song
The song's creation really parallels the creation of the band itself. The original guitar parts were constructed by Sam McDonald and Amir Msawel over a few sporadic practices, and then completed with the eventual addition of the rest of the band.
The lyrics (written by Nader Msawel and edited by Jon Ruales) tell the story of losing a brother to his overall consumption by his significant other.
