Nashville tuned Neil Young Tribute
An experiment in recording Nashville tuned acoustic guitar. It reminded Kevin and I of a certain artist.
Story behind the song
While over at my friend Kevin's home studio in August 2009, he showed me his Nashville tuned acoustic guitar. He played three chords on it, and we thought "That sounds like a Neil Young song!" So we recorded this jam based on the three chords he played on his Nashville tuned acoustic guitar, and added some borrowed words to it.
I really enjoy the melody, gentlemen! Can't make out the lyrics but the vocal quality is great. Next summer you guys should take another stab at this one and record some new pieces, too! Gotta make use of that super cool new studio!
