Story: Alikabok band was formed in 1995. A bunch of high school students formed a group to join the school's first ever battle of the bands. The band went on separate ways after high school but was reformed after almost 17 years!

Story behind the song
A "date" does not mean you have to be an expensive and luxurious one. Ang simpleng date ay ok lang... that's what most guys wish, especially when your short in dough.
The real story behind this is a rich guy's pursuit in finding a woman that would not date because of his riches and would go out because they have common outlook in life and that they enjoy each other's company.
The story ended tragic when the guy finds out that it was not the case. The women he's always dating always ends up looking for the glitters and gold and not the essence of relationships.
