Story behind the song
I wrote this song after discovering that actress Meg Ryan was physically abused during her marriage which made me so very sad and I thought trusting another again might be difficult for her. Men say almost anything they promise the moon and the stars yet all we really have to offer anyone is our heart. It turns out the song has touched everyone I play it for, I think in a sense we all feel this way.
