Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Lyrics
Lay alone in the grass, Stare upon the Night Sky Watch the sweep of the stars. feel the earth fall away. Sweep the dream, slide into the night Fall away from yourself, fly through the suns Never to return, off and away from your life. Sweep the dream, slide into the night. Spirit closes the thought, Sweep away the old soul Fly through the suns, A journey alone in the night. Sweep the dream, slide into the night.

Classic progressive form with a hint of the psychedelic. I really dig the smooth transition and flow between the sections. What a trip, er, journey!

Once I had the strangest dream of all - I was walking along a shoreline unknown ( to me ), underneath a space unknown ( to me ), almost hand in hand with a full moon which gently rolled across the horizon in a 360 degrees full ( ! ) circle. And as I walked I came across a footprint in the sand. There was something extraordinary familiar about this footprint. It was only after waking up I realized the footprint was... my own. I had been here before. These are the stories your music brings up : ( slightly ) psychedelic and always related to dream(y)worlds. Thank you for kind words on SOFA - Johannes.

This is wondersome Carlo! Great textures and really excellent vocal. I've played this a few times now and still keep finding new details. This is true progressive rock - experimental, slightly unhinged, intriguing, uplifting and all things good. Fantastic my friend, fantastic!

I love the fusion of prog rock and psychedelic styling. This track seems to transport us back to a time where dreams were attainable and anything seemed possible. There is an indefinable magic to this song that is truly captivating. The 3 parts flow seamlessly from one to the other, beautifully arranged and composted - the whole concept conjures feelings that make us want to return and experience them again.

A very euphoric experience which for me prompted stunning images of things not present, not past, not future, but images connecting all. Progressive trilogy with stimulating musical elements. I was captivated! Great one
