Lyrics
In eyes bright as the Shaqlawan moon, I search for her love. In dreams, I walk the empty desert and cry for her love. The ancient sky glows red, as blood drains from my dying heart. Elahh, I beseech thee: What more must I try for her love? A scorching sun burns down upon the ruins of Nineveh. There I shall wait until the Tigris runs dry for her love. Beside the Saint of Araden she belongs, this Princess. With Assyrian kings, I would fight and die for her love. An emerald patina surrounds the treasures of Nimrud. But all earthly riches would Verde deny for her love.
