straight ahead blues jam with myself (that's why it's called JAMSTURBATION - self gratification). I play everything... this is the first song I've recorded with me playing drums... so here it is...complete with mistakes and reverb pops.

Story behind the song
bought a set of drums to learn to play because I was getting tired of using drum loops. So I jammed this tune with me on drums, bass, rythmn and lead... no punch-ins, and very little editing except a little lead and tail noises... tried to get a live club feel... complete with mistakes and reverb pops.... hope you enjoy it

A very professional feel to this all round and tuneful, it's like late night radio, reminds of when I'm driving home and the rest of the family are fast asleep. Intriguing title - but it all makes sense now! Keep up the great work.............

like jc i love me some blues rodney.. this got that smokey slow funk that burns soulfully through the night.. diggin that tone bro.. and a phat bass sound.. live drums? right on the money.. that's what i'm looking for chum.. using those sampled drum loops makes me feel like a bum.. but you are flowing and showing and then some.. great run on this one.. cheers..

Fantastic stuff! too bad you're all the way in Canada, it would be pretty cool to sit around and jam to some bluesy tunes on weekends, maybe someday. Stay in touch Rod

I think you were very succesful at what you set out to do. Very warm tone and good phrases. Your drumming sounds very promising, perhaps it's time to buy the complete set. :)
