Mixing folk, jazz lounge, blues, and poetry into something expressive, and hopefully some brain candy to savor. Alex Moon has been writing piano solos and poetry since age 9. In high school he shifted focus to percussion, and pursued studies of ensemble and solo literature through college. Since leaving the university setting, he has focused on pairing poetry and music, and teaching himself to play the guitar and attempt to carry a tune vocally.
Just me and some musicians that volunteered to perform on my cd. It is a mix of acoustic soft music and electric blues/rock music, country, instrumental. It is just me and the musicians that volunteered to play on my CD for me. Title of the CD A Cry For Help, is one of the songs on the cd. Since I am disabled it made and easy choice of the title, since the song is about me.

Clay Harper is making music Jamming online since 2004. The good folks at the Les Paul Forum and elsewhere provided the backing tracks and I've made some using Garageband. This style of playing was a way to increase my lead chops, try new things and learn a ton about recording, mixing, and the bits and pieces that go into polishing up a decent piece of music.

I learned to play guitar in early seventies. In 1975, at the age of 17, I started to play guitar professionally both in concert and in the studio. I was lucky enough to travel in Finland and occasionally in Sweden for 10 years having a job almost every day playing music. Travelling and playing jobs seemed very tiresome for a young player. So in 1985 I was forced to stop playing because the jobs were too hard on me, both physically and mentally. I concentrated on other things in my life inste...
