Country Music Performer/Songwriter/Mike Anderson, Country Drifter
I have formed many Country Bands in my musical career in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Washington. and most have been "Mike Anderson and the Country Drifters" and all have been Country Bands with great musicans. (Secret: I did play rock & Roll in my High School years 1964-1968). I love Country Music, it has a special place in my heart. Singer Songwriter of Country Music, just recenty recorded 4 of my songs and 7 other songs in Nashville. Label: Westwood Int'l. Records; Produced & Arranged by Lonnie Ratliff. I would encourage anyone who has a dream to do something with their music to, "Go For It". This has been such a fulfilling experience that I wish I would have pursued this when I was in my 20's. I have been married to an Angel for 34 wonderful years and she has kept me focused on this dream. As I see it: "Life is too short not to follow your dream". Hope you enjoy my music. I plan to keep on entertaining for many years down the road. Country Music is my passion.

Story behind the song
Louise, (my mother-in-law) had a poem written that she wanted help with, so we changed some lines and words and I put music to it and presto we had a song. I will always cherish that moment when she heard me play our song.
Lyrics
Heartache Hall Of Fame - Author: Mike Anderson and Louise (Bunny) Newman Intro… Verse 1 My life is cold and empty now, since you walked out the door You said you didn’t love me now, or want me anymore I tried to live with out you dear, the pain was hard to bare Remembering times when we were young, and the love we had to share Verse 2 We always talked of our future plans, and lived beyond our means But when we did we paid the price, and had to live on beans I must move on the way you did, and try to forget your name Yet your memories still linger in my heartache hall of fame Chorus - The memories of the time we spent, when we shared our lives as one Holding hands as we walked down, that road toward the sun When I see your face or hear your voice, my life’s just not the same Cause your memories still linger in my heartache hall of fame (Lead Part……) Verse 3 When the kids came home and you were gone, I started to explain But it’s hard to tell the ones you loved, you meant no harm or pain Now it’s been awhile since you’ve been gone, and I don’t know who’s to blame But your memories still linger in my heartache hall of fame Chorus – Then tag last line out
