Story behind the song
This song features a Viola solo with traditional Arabic and Eastern instruments: Marimba, Kalimba, Warm-Pad Bass, Sitar, Percussion and Extra Percussion...mixed in 9/8 Time; and arranged in comp/counter-point fusion with Western Acoustic Piano and Drums... all blended together to convey an exotic, sad mood of a Camel Caravan finally arriving around Midnight at a long awaited Desert Oasis.....for water, rest, and peace...until the start soon of another hot, exhausting day's journey.....

Wonderful piece of music, the rhythm reminds of camels feet and things rattling on the saddle on a long hard trek across the desert. The subtle tinkling sounds gives an impression of sand blowing and hitting any metal or hard objects as they keep going to make it to the oasis before midnight. I can visualize the oasis in the distance and the feeling that they are nearly there. Superb atmospheric imagery!
