Decaying Orbit is an experimental, unorthodox, highly diverse & genre-splitting band from Texas led by their infamous front man Mike Ash. "No, this music's not about that, it's not about sound quality, it's about passion." - Mike Ash. Decaying Orbit is produced by their label, Decaying Enterprises Productions and has released many studio albums since they formed in 2008, after the violent break up of the Psychedelic Rock band, Strangefire, of which Mike was the former front man.
Decaying Orbit believes in unadulterated musical & creative freedom, Mike describes their music as a "cathartic purge" or "nervous break downs caught on tape.". The band believes that creating music is a sacred, spiritual and magical art form brought to them by the Muses, wraiths and demons hidden just beyond the veil between the worlds of the physical and spiritual realms. Decaying Orbit has traveled beyond the veil and into the realms of the spirits, only to reemerge, like a caterpillar from it's cocoon emerging as a beautiful butterfly, so does Decaying Orbit get reborn through the fire of their cacophonous tunage. The band believes in complete freedom of lifestyle, I.E. sexuality, religion, spirituality, drugs, manner of dress etc. They believe that music is an interstellar language that needs no translation to be understood by absolutely anyone. It's the passion behind the emotions found in the music that matters to Decaying Orbit, they believe that integrity is more important than fortune or fame. This is our Decaying Orbit & we do hope that you will N'Joy tha' show!!!!

Nice atmospheric piece, I really enjoyed it as it reminded me of something I discovered (through my yoga studies) a long time ago, that being the idea that when We look at natures wonders it is Nature looking at it's Self...:).
Cheers,
Mauri.

what can be said when youre hearing a guy say it all. this piece is all the proper adjectives and all that.. but what it does is it makes me think..makes me think of something that Ive thought for a long time: If there truly is no personal God and there is no absolute meaning to anything and we are ultimately alone..then you wont find the wisest and most learned sages in the universities or the lecture halls or behind the pulpits or working the counter at autozone.. but rather youd find them in the bars, heroin dens, crack houses, street corners as well as in the mansions of beverly hills et al.
Kitara wrote: "-Nature looking at it's Self..." that's a little freaky & v.fascinating- actually kinda what I always thought was Gods only one single purpose for creating the world? Mauri is an outstanding classic rock blues guitarist & I understand he actually once played with Bon Scott(ACDC) don't believe me? check it out..
