Story behind the song
I recorded this when I was 12 years old on a cruddy little two-sided tape deck.
it was my very first experience with multi-tracking on a tape deck, but I layered the guitars in subtly beneath the pianos, I am soooo very, very proud of this little tune. it was like a sign of things to come. the song was later featured on the Mike Ash album, "Can't Stop Laughing" but has, for the most part lain dormant for the better part of 25 years. another factoid about this jam is that I sampled it into the song, "Demented Interment" in 2011 during the sessions for the Decaying Orbit album, "Ifurin". other than that however, the song has been hidden away for a VERY, VERY LOOONG time!!!! this is a true Mike Ash relic, an oddment, a gem from along the way of his musical journey...
