Woah!...Nice deep bass, and a cookin' rhythm track. The sax slides around like a slippery snake. Love the horn section too. Like, what's not to like here. What a fabulously neat production. You should be very proud of this...I'm sure that you are!. Great stuff guys.

This really has that smokey late night live stage appeal it it! A great sounding jam from both of you! Really enjoyed the funky guitar and the cool saxophone. The rhythm section has some nice instrumentation as well. Love the hammond chops and the soulful vocal spots! Nice variety in the collaboration.

Sparkling funky piece!!! A very good mix using guitar B&D and brass sections!! You both delivered a professional work my friends, loved listening to!! Was impressed by the great use of the wammy bar, the sax lines in perfect funky style ( yes Al!!) talking with the guitar, well done Mike and Al, well done! :D PS: killer snare !! ;)

Great funky fun here :) Great to hear something with such a "Live" felling here on SC. It really sounds like great musicians jamming along to a backtrack ( I guess that is what it is?). The guitars and the saxes are top class! I love how you take your time and let the beat flow :) Cool stuff!

Wow! What a great stuff! It captures from the very beginning, literally from the first sounds. Yeah, great collab of Mike and Al! Very genuine and groovy with awesome sound of all the instruments. And also those vocal phrases... Whose voice is that? - I'd like to know... ))) So, bravo!!!

As always Al's primo-deluxe old school funk provides the bed of ultra-cool that James Brown himself would have been compelled to dance upon. Mike's extremely well placed and tastefully timed lead work pierces through the mix beautifully, it's sonic candy, a special treat indeed. And how about those breathtaking keys funkin' up the joint, with world class tone to die for. This number is proof that these cats would absolutely slay in a live jazz club situation, hell, anywhere! Digging this one a lot, way to go guys, this number oozes cool, made my day.

I'm giving 5 stars for Vocals as I could not have achieved this even if I wore a Genital cuff :) Ok, a bit of background buzz at the start. Don't know whether this is due to compression or what. Basically a 3 note extemporisation which of course with the depth and years of experience of both Al and yourself works out just right. Happy February! TonyG.
