As a singer, song-writer, and producer, Mikal Garrett knows his way around both the stage and the
studio. His sound is a soulful blend of rhythm, blues, gospel, and hip hop, inspired by the likes of Stevie
Wonder, Michael Jackson, Alicia Key, and John Legend, to name a few. His unique artistic style shines
through in his current ongoing collaboration with Co-Mingl, a musician’s collective that performs in the
Twin Cities with a fresh and energetic take on beloved classics.
Mikal is passionate about connecting with musicians, venues, and corporations to create memorable
musical experiences in the Twin Cities and beyond. He is driven to build relationships through music that
lead to long-lasting partnerships, and has seen this vision come to life with the Minneapolis Convention
Center, the Metropolitan Economic Development Association, General Mills, HCMC, and more. He is excited about
