Musician, singer, gospel composer and author of children's book.

Hello, I am Debbie Sheffield-Barnett. I am a wife, mother, singer, organist, pianist, and composer. I am a retired school teacher of 36 years. I am also an author of children's books. I have publish "The Box" and " I Love You Grandma,...I Love You Too". I have played organ and piano most of my life. I am a music composer and love to create songs for worship or for choirs. I have been writing songs since I was a teenager. I had a group called the Trinikas in Oklahoma City while attending Douglass High School. I wrote a song called "Remember Me" and Black is Beautiful. I love to create music and see it scored on paper...a great feeling. I am the daughter of Leslie Sheffield Sr and Carrie Sheffield. Father was a jazz musician here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, mother was a gospel singer. So I give all my credit to God the creator and to my parents. I love to write music and hope that someday others will sing my songs.
