Gpat better known as Patrick Gihana,was born on march 28 1982 in Goma(RDC).
At a very young age,he joined the church singing-choir and started to sing every sunday.
He was 15 when he moved to Belgium, together with his mother, brothers and sister in '98.
In Belgium he got familiar with the hip-hop culture and more;Specifically with Rap-Music
The hip-hop vibe strikes and he begins to memorize rap lyrics
In 2000 together with his friends&brothers,they started a group by the name "UdoubleF"which stand
For (Union Fait la Force)
The group was formed by a dj and five rappers and had a lot of succes in their surrounding areas
After releasing their first demo-album"A L'AISE"with the single(Why we die..?)and first video in 2002
the group splitted for different reasons
The love for the music and the will to make music couldn't end there!
In 2004 he started another group together with his 2brothers Serge Gihana known as Eros-Sergent
And Marcelin Gihana known as Imasaï by the name of TRIPLE-G!
A rap-formation of three Brothers,A trio with formidable singing, rapping, songwriting, and productions talent.
Inspired by love, daily life, the media and the youth.
They rap with their hearts and souls about their own life experiences, reality, philosophy, fantasies.
Their music is an excellent mix of three different styles. English-French quality rnb hiphop Music bringin’ a brand new and unique sound.In 2005 they released "THE THREE MUSKETEERS"
In 2007 it was time for "BLOOD BROTHERS"followed by "FAMILY TREE"in 2009 with the hit-singlefirst single “Noir & fier” which has been played on TMF and Jim Tv.
In the same year they been on tour with TMF stress-factor,performed on TMF coolsweat and in East-Europe.
in 2011 they released their last album"KISS&CUDDLE"in a collaboration with Gift..
After releasing 5Demo-Albums with his brothers,it was time for a new challenge as an
Artist.
At the moment he's busy working on his solo project..COMING SOON!!
Inspired by the best,his own life experiences,the new-world,daily-life,media ect..
He rap with love and passion.
His music are mainly in French,but some times in English too,which creates a unique sound.
He has already released 2 singles of his first solo project"LIVE,LOVE&PARTY"
which are available on Itunes&youtube...!!!
