After withdrawing from the Art Institute Of Atlanta, I returned home to Savannah to help my family. I worked a full time job over night and began working with local artist during the day to make a few bucks here and there.
Many times I freelanced because I didn't understand the value of the music producer, and as a result doing tons of free work, it kept my pockets filled.....with lint.
Because I hated my job, I thought, why not try my best to replace my income by getting paid from my creations. So that I could move out of my mom's and start my own family, finally pay off that college debt, and dedicate more time to perfecting my craft.
Leasing beats are cool, but I wanted to develop better relationships with clients who wanted to constantly buy from me. No matter the price!
Today, I'm on my way, to a lifestyle of living off of my creativity without having to deal with the stress of a job that i dislike (I know you can relate Lol). Through Much trial and error, I'm now glad to say I'm starting to see more results daily. From not being able to make a dime online to actually seeing results and building relationships with clients who will continue to buy!
How?
YOU may be struggling with selling your beats or Anything online, and may even want to know how you can start to see profits.
Discovering the Fundamentals of marketing and actually using systems to help market your music and products is what it will take to succeed in 2013 and beyond. Video Below

Would You Take 50 Cent's and Kanye West's Advice???
Jan 8, 2014
I love History... Why??? Because it reveals secrets. It shows us Leaders paths to victories. It teaches us things that we can apply in our lives today. Now, if you are an artist online trying to grow your online presence... Would you listen to two very successful artist in the music industry if they told you somethings they did to gain certain levels of success?? Let's start with 50 Cent. This dude is a genius...a master of craft. Let's check out his book he wrote with Robert Greene "The 50th Law"... In 2003, 50 Cent was now into Corporate America. After seeing how business executives reacted to the change of the music industry (ie. Internet), he knew that their inability to adapt to change would ruin them. He then began to pickup different ventures, making money with Vitamin Water, General Motors and Pontiac, Books. Soon, without knowing where it would lead, he put together thisis50.com. A place where he showcased videos, songs, projects, etc. It also became a place where fans could interact, creating conversation between fans and access to him as well. Basically a blog. Kanye did the same where he showcased his personal interests, fashion, etc. on a blog. He also released new music and videos to fans. He literally tells you this in the song "Made In America" on the Watch The Throne album. (((( [media] I told my mama I was on the come up She said "you going to school I'll give you a summer" Then she met NO ID and gave me his number 10 years later she driving a Hummer Niggas hustle every day for a beat from Ye What I do? Turn around, gave them beats to Jay And I'm rapping on the beat they was supposed to buy I guess I'm getting high off my own supply Downtown mixing fabrics trying to find the magic Started a little blog just to get some traffic Old folks'll tell you not to play in traffic A million hits and the web crashes – damn! South Park had 'em all laughing Now all my niggas designing and we all swaggin' Ignore the critics just to say we did it This ain't no fashion show, motherfucker, we live it)))) So, if these two artist used blogs to grow their online presence and businesses, would you take the advice they are sending you in these messages??? Blogs are really simple to manage, in fact there are tons of things you can do with your own blog. Visit http://work.blog-along.com for a FREE video revealing what MOST Artist don't know about Blogging.
Would You Rather Be Super Rich Or Comfortable???

(Just some opinions, my point of view on this topic) As you read this blog post, someone is creating a product that will probably make them millions tomorrow...seriously. ...somewhere in the world, there is an 18 year old kid submitting his credit card information online for the first time to begin building an online business that will make him a thousand'aire in a matter of months... Even you, you are probably strategically planning your path to wealth, selling your music online... Many people say they want to become "super rich" without thinking about the amount of effort it takes to gain and maintain that lifestyle. Me and my bros have had this convo before...many people may say they want to be rich... Myself...I'd enjoy wealth, but comfort is better than struggling. There isn't anything wrong with being super rich..or wealthy. There are many millionaires and even thousand'aires who live a very private life without the media invading their lives. Do you believe everyone could handle the challenges the rich face? I doubt it, You maybe thinking "more money more problems". But I believe anyone that desires to make any large amount of money on their own, will face similar problems. Some say having large amounts of money isn't as sweet as it looks...and I partially agree. But I believe sticking through it is sweet, the reward is great. I believe many people would enjoy a more comfortable lifestyle if the don't want a super rich lifestyle... Being able to maintain your bills, save and invest money, have access to the resources you need and desire. ..At the same time, keeping your privacy (No nagging paparazzi Lol) So which are you more likely to choose? Super Rich? Comfortable? Or Neither???

...using YouTube. I literally left my YouTube account active for 3 years. I'd put a few "Making The Beat" videos on there... They didn't get much traffic to them...probably because I didn't know a thing about SEO and optimizing my videos for traffic..I just didn't know how to get viewers. So my YouTube channel was basically a deserted island in the big ocean (the internet)...if that makes since to you. I returned to it in 2013 because I knew how it would help me connect with more people online. Its something about YouTube, I started doing a lot of different things that began getting me results. Since being on YouTube, I've gained a few skills....well..quite a bit, but I'll name a couple here.. I learned how powerful it was to "connect" your videos to one another, which increases the time spent on your channel. Getting subscribers for free, without having "suspicious" activity going on within your account or without having to buy subscribers. I started applying SEO strategies to my videos to gain more viewers. YouTube is powerful. ...I guess its because people can see you...they find you entertaining..They'll subscribe to you, waiting daily for you to upload more videos. Video is powerful, especially if you are showing your face, expressing your ideas and opinions....you'd be amazed at how many people out there online connect to You based on who You are. They begin to know, like, and trust you..and if you have a product that you are selling, they will support it! They will share any and everything you ask them to share.. It's f**ckin' amazin' Lol. So if you're looking for a way to gain a following faster, YouTube is one of the best places to gain a loyal following. -ThisIsKJG
Everybody on "Their Grind"...Making It Less Painful
Dec 13, 2013
I've been putting together a small report about "The Grind". Its like....I'm on a mission to help those out their struggling along the way. When you think about it, there is sooo much talent here on Soundclick from all around the world... And just think for a second, of the number of artists who can't record their music regularly...or who can't afford to buy beats regularly.. Who can't even afford to invest in recording equipment.. Its painful to know how talented you are, but can't share it with the world because you do not have the resources. People need two things to kick start their career....Money and Time. And as I myself take the path to gain more of them both.. I want to focus on helping those who wish to have the same. That's what my free report is all about. Helping those struggling through the grind... Making it a lot less painful. Once its completed, I'll create another blog post here, where you guys will be able to download and read. Its not just for people struggling during the grind, but for people who have big enough hearts to help others who may be struggling in the grind. Hope you guys enjoy it. I'll blog to you soon.
