Joseph Steven Mosher also known as Profit was born and raised in Albany New York on November 8 1991. His ethnicity background is Black mixed with White. Even though Joseph is from albany he went to East Greenbush Schools most of his life. Joseph started the first 2 months or so of his freshman year at columbia then up and moved to Vermont for about 6 months and thats when he realized he didnt want to leave without finishing what he started so he decided to move back to his hometown. Towards the end of his freshmen year Joseph started to become focused on his current job at the time " The Holiday Inn Express." A few years later He then graduated from Columbia Highschool in 2010.
This young artist learned how to write his own lyrics and make himself be heard by many people. He started to write his own lyrics at the age of 16. At the age of 17 he realeased his first R&B Track on Myspace called "Heartbeat Skip" and got over 3,000 song plays the first 2 weeks. Over the years motivated to succeed and follow his dream of becoming a musician his family was a great inspiration. Along the road Profit has teamed up with many other artist such as, Ma-Leek,Jovan Marquel,A.M.W. It is now summer 2012 and he plans on releasing a new Mixtape in the near future.
