MERLE ROBINSON (A.K.A) MURDA MERLE- Was Born November 21st 1987 @ 11:21pm In Benton Harbor Michiagan, He was raised in MINNEAPOLIS MN. MURDA MERLE is a solo artist who had the gift for music since he was in the 2nd grade when he played the drums at marcy open school advanced band member in 1996.
His appreciation for the art of music developed through his time at Marcy Open School, with his individual commitment and enthusiasm for learning later being instrumental to the HIP-HOP & RAP Culture.
When Merle focused and sat down in the year of 2003 he set his mind – to make music. No gimmicks, no hidden agendas and with limited resources he started from the bottom climbing, to make it to the top.
MURDA MERLE Cite his influences as God, each other, familey , prayerful mothers, fathers, the loss of loved ones and typical day to day inner city observations. His sound is triumphant, textured inspiration built from layers ranging from upbeat to thought provoking.
He write & record all of his own music hustle'n still holding down his day job as a Barber, earning his college degrees and managing his families. That’s what’s REAL!
