The music industry has no shortage of artists struggling to find their identity and solidifying their position as an artist to be reckoned with. but there are a few who need no introduction because their music speaks for itself. you can insert artist gorgeous firmly in the latter category. her new album Ella bell is a riveting and moving debut, that will not only touch and inspire you but one that will leave you with undisputed idea of who she is musically. A true Georgia Peach, gorgeous grew up singing in her youth choir, that is where her love for music began, but she didn't start to seriously invest in it until her late teens early twenties following the untimely death of her older brother, Timothy Jones, whose love for music and rap form rubbed off on her. " when my brother died I really started taking music more seriously because that was what he love to do and I want it to keep his dream alive." in August of 2011 she recorded her first song, no matter what, on a home computer and recording systems. at that at that time she was in a relationship with a guy who had been incarcerated and wrote the song as a love letter to him about her unwavering love and commitment in spite of the circumstances. songs my pain was about abuse and neglect of women. it was written in 2012 and she performed it live in 2013 at a domestic violence rally in Savannah Georgia's Forsyth Park. since then she has recorded with DJ halftime a well-known local DJ with doe nation.
