At a young age, Genisiz was exposed to a wide selection of artist and composers from Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday to Quincy Jones and Phil Collins. During the emergence of the Hip-Hop era, Genisiz began being inspired by artist such as Kurtis blow, Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J, Rakim, KRS-1, Public Enemy, NWA, Ice-Cube, The Ghetto Boyz and many more of the founding members of the Hip-Hop culture. What had the most impact on Genisiz was the rise of child stars in Hip-Hop such as Chi Ali, Kriss Kross, ABC (Another Bad Creation) and Da Youngstas because they were his age at the time of their careers and that motivated Genisiz to begin writing his own lyrics at age 11.
The musical development of Prinze Genisiz progressively continued throughout his teenage and early adult years. Despite a lengthily prison stay that began in 1993, Genisiz cultivated his writing skills until his release in the summer of 2005. Upon release from prison, Prinze Genisiz wrote and released material combined into 3 mixtapes (earning himself a fan base in the USA and also in Germany). During that time, he also started the process of learning how to compose the instrumental part of music, and then began producing for and recording other artist.
Currently, Genisiz has taken a step back from creating his own projects in order to help develop the talents of recording artist from multiple genres. Adding to his achievements, the prinze is also using his entreprenurial skills to help build an
