Derrick Jones aka Koleon is an up and coming Rap Artist who has been rapping and songwriting since age 11. As a youngster Koleon would use writing and rapping as a way to deal with a life that was plaqued by unstable parents and having to witness Drug Abuse, Alcoholism, and Domestic Violence. As Koleon moved from foster home to foster home he continued writing songs to block out the reality that he was without his mother, father, and his 11 siblings. His love and desire for music contiued to grow. By age 13 Koleon had written a number of original songs and would perform them at local school talent shows. Koleon would feel at his best when he was on stage. Now 22yrs. old, Koleon spends countless hours in the recording studio writing and recording his creations as well as writing songs for other area rap artist. Koleon has grown from a troubled youth to become a hardworking, respectful, and dedicated young man and recording artist on a mission for the world to hear his music.
