He is one acquainted with music.
Chuck Baileys name may be familiar to you as an alt rock band frontman from the 90s, Darkhorse, his 2000s project 29ten or you may have heard of him from his new music with internet collaborators from all over the globe. He is known for his enthusiastic, soulful singing and insightful songwriting.
Born in Flint Michigan, Chuck grew up in listening to classic rock of the seventies including local Flint hometown boys Grand Funk Railroad. The classic albums of those times were his playmates. Records by the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Steve Miller Band, Bob Seger and others became his favorite hobby when his family moved up north to Tawas Michigan. Chuck learned enough guitar at age 10 to sing his first song for his 5th grade classmates at Tawas City Elementary.
In high school, Chuck dabbled in 4track recording and made a few cassette only releases. He joined local Tawas hard rock act Anarchy and made three releases with them, getting his first taste of professional recording studios such as Blue Dog Audio and Whitehead studios. From there, he went on to start another hard rock outfit, Tower which played shows around mid-michigan for a year. From there it was the hard-rocking Darkhorse, based in Kalamazoo, that he fronted for 5 years. After taking some time off, Chuck formed the 29ten project and released a CD with that band.
I then discovered the internet could be a wonderful device that could get me in contact with bandmembers from all over the world. I could dabble in musical styles that were foreign to me without the expense and hassle of going there Chuck Bailey
Chuck is currently gathering material from 8 years of online collaborations to release to the world.

Hey hey my my, rock and roll will never die. Unless by dying you mean selling out and becoming a shadow of its former self.
Just putting together the finishing touches on a Chuck Bailey Band Release tentatively called "Denim", can't decide whether its an EP or and LP
