Born July 27, 1988 in Dallas, Texas LaToya “S. Dot Prada” Derrick found writing to be an outlet that would keep trouble away. The name represents the attitude within my humble state of mind, as well as my natural love for fashion.. Currently “Pardon Me Prada” is in the works. I am driven by my hearts ammunition (a love for music, living, and staying true to myself). Music is most definitely no phase or something I do just for fun. I have recently collaborated with Donte “Chi” Jordan of Ruff Endz on a street felt track, entitled “Gotta Make It”. God and every aspect of making music keeps me alive. Whether writing songs, rapping, or dancing, the base of music is involved. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason, so the fact that I have been blessed with the talents you see and hear is not taken for granted. My style is separated from the rest because I don’t limit myself to one style or one particular delivery in performance. I’m never complacent and constantly improving as an artist, performer, and person. Lyricism is brought first and foremost to the table. Rose in a single parent home with one older brother I learned the importance of learning from observation, staying focused, and independence. Transposing from poetry to writing music and making beats was the only thing that stood in the way. Ready to take on any challenge, “S. Dot Prada” is a name to remember.
