Chico Star, born Xavier Angel Hernandez, is a 21 year old record producer and composer from Miami, FL. Xavier was born in Union City, New Jersey, then at 9 months moved to Miami, FL where he would be raised in. He is of Cuban and Puerto Rican decent. Chico has been composing since the age of 13 and has been honing his skills since then. At nineteen, Hernandez relocated to Orlando where he would start getting production placements for local artists from the central Florida area such as C Mack, JT Nouns, LaRue, Skyy High and others. Mr. Hernandez was one of the top composers at one of the top 5 recording schools in the country. Chico Star has a unique sound to make his place in hip hop. His production style consists of: Climactic scores, Colorful new age synth work, Solid drums, rapid-fire percussion, Thick lush chord progressions, and just plain-old Chico ''swag''. With a futuristic and unorthodox style such as his, Chico is sure to make an impact on the music industry. Chico Star does not make beats for rappers to rap on, he makes movies for artist STAR in.
