I'd like to first and foremost salute all of my fellow artists trying to break ground in this bullshit business! It's not only difficult beyond comprehensible belief to create separation throughout this monkey see-monkey do industry it's hard keeping a level head. (Trust me, I know.) It is of all of our collective dreams to not only transcend barriers, scaling our potential to the highest peak, but to leave behind a story that will forever be told. How does one achieve such? One doesn't. Focusing on becoming legendary is the easiest way to not to, simply put. My suggestion to everyone reading this would be to focus solely on creating timeless music. Forget about the money, the fame....the accolades, the escalades. Ignore those who follow suit, even if they lie within the inner sanctum of your own camp. Strive for perfection with the underlining knowledge that overall perfection ISN'T attainable. If you're driven enough (which you'd have to be to even TAKE this business with a grain of salt), you will push yourself to your limits, and the circumferential limits of those limits in hopes of one day breaking the cycle and BECOMING the mold for what perfection can be.
