I am a retired Music industry executive. I owned my own distributorship for about 30 years. I have represented Capitol's Paperback Classics in their short lived attempt to bring good classical music to the masses at low prices and many other classical labels. I pride myself at knowing the proper pronunciation of Buxtehude. Frankly, as someone who lived, sold, and liked the music of the 60s,70,and 80s, and even had to read the lyric sheets on may of the demos to understand what they were saying, I'm lost in today" "music". The classics are comforting to me.

Hi Carl, I just had to thank you again for adding all these other songs to your station!! If there is a particular song that you would like to hear, let me know. I still have several more of my recordings to sort through, and I might have it. I am uploading another Shostakovich Sym. #5 within the next day or so that I think you might enjoy. It is a TMEA All State Band recording from my senior year. The band had about 160 members and it sounds awesome. Thanks again and thanks for the advice!! Ivan Tavarres

Advice from an old geezer: Never be afraid to have your kids watch you act like a satisfied and happy human being.

Hello, thanks for checking out my music and for adding "Procession of Nobles" and "Saints" to your station, and for the nice comment. I really appreciate it very much! We have similar tastes because these are some of my favorites also, especially "Procession of Nobles". I laughed when I read your comment about marching around the room because I still do that also (when my kids aren't watching). I still have several more recordings to digitize and upload, so please check back again. And, welcome to Soundclick. Ivan Tavarres
