Filthy Skint consist of 2 ordinary lads (Seamless & Stocks) portraying the struggles of everyday working class lives with dynamic lyrics and diverse beats. They talk about what they do, what they know, and who they are. Bringing humour, controversy and emotion into all their lyrics. Both Seamless and Stocks have been writing for as long as they can remember but Filthy Skint wasn't formed until 2008 after recording their first track together 'One Dream'. Filthy Skint then started investing in studio time and in 2009 they auditioned for Open Mic UK with a track titled 'React', the beat of which was produced by Seamless himself. After that they were through to the Regional finals, and then successively onto the National Grand Final after performing 'Fiver in Change' which got a fantastic reaction from the crowd. Although Filthy Skint didn't win they got enough positive feedback from judges, (one of which was Dane Bowers) to give them the confidence to work on their first Album. Other than that they're still a bit wet behind the ears but have enough drive and determination to take this as far as they can! Please leave comments, constructive criticism is welcome!
